We don't advise passengers with a history of neck or spinal injuries/conditions to take part due to the nature of the activity. Additionally some breathing or heart conditions maybe unsuitable. If you have any concerns regarding any medical conditions please give us a call on 02920 487663 where we would be happy to discuss what options are available and provide advice about your particular circumstances.
We do not impose age restrictions however we do inforce a minimum of 1.2 metres for all passengers to ensure they are capable of supporting themselves independently during the experience. There may be some movement on the minimum height at the skippers discretion. For whole boat private charters we would have more scope to amend the style of driving. Toddlers and babies would not be able to experience any of our fast boat trips.
Prior to boarding the boat we provide a full safety brief including how to attract the skipper's attention. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or worried about the trip please attract the skipper's attention and we will do our best to reduce any concerns including returning you to shore at the earliest opportunity.
All of our trips are booked on a first come first served basis. If you would like to pre-book a trip we will ask for a 50% deposit (full payment for the 15 min Bay Blasts) at the time of booking with the balance payable on arrival for your trip. If you prefer to pay on the day we can accept cash or card payment but we wouldn't be able to reserve any seats until a deposit has been received.
Poor weather such as rain will not normally prevent the trips from commencing. We offer waterproof smocks as extra protection but always advise our passengers to dress appropriately for the expected weather on the day of the trip. Our coastal trips may be effected by the weather conditions and if the skipper deems the conditions to be unsuitable an alternative arrangement will be made. The trips within the Bay are rarely cancelled.
Unfortunately due to the nature of our trips we will not be able to accommodate pregnant ladies. Studies of women working aboard ships have discovered the effect of whole body vibration may be damaging during pregnancy.
All passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, during our children's parties there must be one adult who is responsible for the children's behaviour
Each of our trips have been planned to provide you with a thrilling experience, however we also tailor every individual ride to the comfort and safety of the passengers on board. Our boats are capable of speeds of up to 60 knots although this is rarely achieved with passengers on board with an average of 30-40 knots would be more realistic.
All passengers must be able to support themselves independently during the trip. The nature of the disability will dictate the suitability of our trips. Please give us a call on where we would be happy to discuss all options available with you
We always recommend dressing appropriately for the weather conditions expected on the day of your trip, taking into account the effects of the sun as well as the cold ,and flat shoes if possible. There is always a risk of getting wet during any of our trips so if you have waterproofs feel free to bring them or you can leave a change of clothes ashore with us. We offer an additional waterproof smock for coastal trips.
